The easy to assemble Robens Arrow Head 1 tent uses the sloping tunnel design with a side entrance to provide a stable and comfortable sleeping space with improved headroom for individual use, while minimizing package size and weight. As with all Route tents, the rails for the rods are capped at one end to facilitate insertion. Storage is maximized by offsetting the interior tent to give additional porch space, while pre-formed alloy rods improve headroom.

The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in windy conditions is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of the test. During the test, the maximum velocity (MAX) of the impact to which a tent was subjected and the average wind speed (AVG) at which structural instability occurred are recorded. This can appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and its subsequent recovery when the wind dies down. At no time was any catastrophic failure experienced in wind speed up to the maximum speeds.
