The Robens Pioneer 3EX tent, which can comfortably accommodate three people, is stable and easy to pitch. It has a single side door leading to a spacious porch, with ample storage space and headroom for sitting and relaxing in bad weather. The weight is still low enough for three people to consider it a spacious option if unstable weather conditions are expected. Front and rear vents create airflow to minimise condensation.

Technology:
- Robens Wind Test
The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in windy conditions is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of the test. During the test, the maximum velocity (MAX) of the impact to which a tent was subjected and the average wind speed (AVG) at which structural instability occurred are recorded. This can appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and its subsequent recovery when the wind dies down. At no time was any catastrophic failure experienced up to the maximum wind speed.
