The Scarpa Rush TRK GORE-TEX boots dial in support and protection in a boot with a suede leather upper and rubber toe cap, backed by GORE-TEX for guaranteed protection against the elements. The upper balances the lightweight, nimble feel of a trail running shoe with the support and protection you expect from a hiking boot. Support, protection and traction underfoot are courtesy of the exclusive PRESA sole with Interactive Kinetic System (IKS) technology. The IKS system features internal shock-absorbing domes placed in key ground contact areas that function as mechanical shock absorbers, while the SuperGum rubber compound provides sure-footed grip on any terrain you encounter. Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame supports the arch and wraps the heel on both sides.

Exclusive to Scarpa the SuperGum rubber compound was developed to provide equal or better slip resistance compared to other high friction rubbers, but with far superior abrasion resistance. It was formulated to offer high friction performance in both wet and dry conditions, but at the same time offers 3 times more abrasion resistance.
