Silva Spike Jet Classic Compass

The Silva Spike Jet Classic compass comes with a rotating shell with 360° graduation markings, enlarged orientation lines on the base plate and three different scale sliders.

The baseplate has a detachable measuring scale on the tip that helps you measure the exact distance between two places on the map. This will make it easier for you to plan your trek. If you choose to separate the scale slider, you will have even more transparency and visibility of the map. With the Spike Jet, you have 3 independent scale sliders, which can also be rotated, giving you a total of 6 different scales to choose from: 1:40 k, 1:7,5 k, 1:10 k, 1:15 k, 1:3 k, 1:4 k. The holes in the baseplate for start and control marks are great when you want to create your own orienteering race.
